Khairon — What's New
Only changes you can see or feel as a user are listed here. To check which build you are on, open Help > About in the app — it shows
Version : 1.5.2andRelease : AS-20261014-54; the last number is the patch number. Updates are checked automatically after the app opens, and a notice in the lower-right corner tells you when a new build is available.
1.5.2 · Patch 54 (2026-10-14)
This build ships a new installer. Press [Update] on the notice card to download, install and restart. The changes since 1.5.1 are listed below.
1. Update notices now appear inside the app.
- The app opens first and checks for a new build a moment later, then every 4 hours. The window no longer waits for the check at startup.
- When a new build is available, a notice card appears in the lower-right corner with [Update] and [Later]. [Later] shows the notice again at the next check.
- A build with a new installer is downloaded, installed, and the app restarts. A screen-only build applies with a single restart. Progress is shown on the card.
2. You can send messages while the AI is working.
- A message typed during a task is queued and handed to the AI at its next step. Anything still queued when the task ends is sent automatically right after.
- A queued message has Send now (stop the current task and send immediately) and ✕ (cancel and put the text back in the input box).
- Slash commands and image attachments cannot be sent while a task is running; send them after it finishes.
3. The chat view is tidier.
- Each request, its process and the answer are shown as one block. While working, only one progress line (elapsed time · what it is doing now) and the AI's interim notes are visible.
- When the task ends the process folds away, leaving a summary line (time taken · steps · tool calls · files changed) above the final answer. Click the summary line to unfold the process.
- Command runs are grouped into cards, and tools that failed and were retried are marked "retry N". Reopened conversations look the same.
4. Background delegation runs longer and flows more naturally.
- A delegated task stops after 15 minutes without progress or after 2 hours in total (previously a fixed 20 minutes from start).
- After a delegate reports completion, the AI continues with the next step without waiting for your input (up to 20 times in a row, then it asks).
- Completion reports now contain only what was actually verified.
5. Also
- Common mistakes in AI-written code (calls to functions that do not exist, mis-wired events, and so on) are caught at save time more reliably so the AI fixes them itself. Non-SpiderGen projects now also get a verification step after the work.
